With time, the good becomes better, and better best. No doubt the business landscape in Ajman has changed over the years. Specific changes in government policy, the introduction of newer technologies and other procedural changes impacts the business landscape significantly.

Ajman 2021; In Sync with the Green Objective and the Rest of the Thriving UAE


Last year, the crown prince of Ajman, Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi passed the first series of Ajman 2021 objectives, according to Arabian Business. The goals, based on three key pillars, namely a green economy, a better place to live and an excellent government, will be achieved through 21 key objectives, under the three plans.


For instance, under the plan, Ajman reportedly seeks to increase the percentage of skilled workers by 42 percent by 2021, in its labour market. Business setup in Ajman is sure to get benefited from these implementations.


Gold Card Residence Visa for Distinguished Professionals

This year in July, the Emirate of Ajman issued its first-ever gold card residence visa to a business tycoon. The recipient of the permanent residence was an Indian businessman Siddique Pallolathil, who happens to be the director of retailer Nesto Group, reported Gulf Business


This means the doors are open for distinguished professionals in their fields, to be able to achieve a permanent residence in the UAE. According to the report, 'exceptional' doctors, engineers, scientists, and artists would be entitled to the gold card residence, as per the announcement made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.


Ajman Department of Economic Development Introduces Simplified Digital Licencing Method

Just recently the DED of Ajman announced the launch of ‘Halan’ Licence. This new form of licensing will allow the concerned person to apply for a license without the need to be physically present anywhere and through the DED's app or website, the Khaleej Times reports.


This method will allow applicants to skip submitting other supporting documents like the company's contract of establishment, among others, provided certain conditions. This method will attract investments in Ajman.


Ajman Department of Economic Development Launches New Investment Map Project

At the recent GITEX Tech Week held in Dubai, Ajman DED launched a comprehensive and technologically supercharged solution, to help the Ajman business setup investors invest with more insight than ever.


The Investment Map project- child of advanced technology- will allow business investors in Ajman an overview of all the economic establishments licensed in Ajman. This electronic platform will enable entrepreneurs and investors to design their approach to investment in the Emirate better.
